Marketing Assistant

Starting Salary: Unpaid

 Hours: 15/wk

Prospective College: BS and/or BA degree

If you ever wanted to get a taste of the rag business, you will get it here.

Great experience for the right candidate.  Assisting with promotions of SHALLYN apparel and events.  Assisting with Collection Previews, Photo shoots, and/or Trunk Shows. Will work on our "4 weeks of Style event" in June and July.  Creating and editing press releases, assembling marketing packages and other misc. duties.  Dealing with correspondence to prospective buyers, media and/or clients. Must be organized, personable and creative. See further specific duties below.

Adobe Photoshop experience helpful but not necessary

Specific Duties for Summer 2010:

For starters, great experience for a go-getter, motivated, enthusiastic candidate. 

Assisting with a fashion presentation (runway showing) that will be held in our showroom on Saturday May 1st.

Setting up a lookbook, contacting press & sponsors.

Working with the head designer Shallyn

Creating style bags for our guests.

 Finalizing invites to sponsors and speakers

Situating seating charts for guests, media and buyers for fashion show. 

 Dealing with email correspondence and rsvp’s of prospective buyers.

Must be organized, personable and creative. 

 

 

S II Films

Production Assistant

Starting Salary: Unpaid

 Hours: 32 hours Total

SHALLYN, LLC- S II Films is looking for two (2) energetic,  "not scared to get their hands dirty", production assistants for an internship for our upcoming tv show. This is a great opportunity for students who need credit for film school or would like to utilize the experience for their resume. You will have to have an understanding of production schedules, timecodes and a keen eye.  Please send your information, resume and contact information for a potential phone interview. Starting salary: Stipend

Hours: (10)

Able to work with professional equipment and lighting. Some previous experience with example of work.  Somewhat flexible schedule within a posted production shooting schedule, however willing to work with your schedule, if a student. Looking for an applicant that has an enthusiasm for their work and has creative ideas that will also be given consideration. Must exude a keen eye for detail.

It is a fashion oriented show that will feature SHALLYN apparel, special fashion events, interviews and red carpet expose. Both genders are wanted and welcomed.
